Fort Lauderdale Florida fishing report

Report Date: February 16, 2008

This week has given a nice mix of fish and weather. The offshore scene started out with some Sailfish swimming through and they again appeared later in the week. We did score and it was a blast. Mixed in with them were Dolphin and a few made it home to the table. Kingfish were scarce and so were the Bonita. The weather gave us a real soaker mid week but it broke through to great condiditons the last few days. I did mix up the action with the ever dependable Jack Crevalle and Barracuda fishing inshore. They always seem to cooperate as long as the bait is frisky.

Heading out now to give the waters another tiest. Check back for the next update.
